Wild Boor Ideas is run by Emma Boor a descendant of the great South African 'Boor Tribe'. Actually she was born in Lowestoft in Suffolk, but that doesn't sound quite as exciting!

She has been running Wild Boor Ideas for five years. She has also worked for the Wildlife Trust using arts to explore wildlife with excluded groups and as Arts Officer for Chester-le-street District Council. At present she combines running the business with being the Education Officer for the North of England Region of the RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds).


The aim of Wild Boor Ideas is to provide a high quality arts and environmental education service in the most environmentally friendly way possible. Wild Boor wants to work with people of all ages and backgrounds to ...

Wild Boor Story Telling with Puppets helps bring books, stories and a wide range of topics to life.

There is a Wild Boor Workshop for all occasions (including Fetes, fairs, fun days, and training courses) and if there isn't one we will make you one, with your school, community group or designed especially for you.

Wild Boor offers Puppet Projects (such as puppet residencies that result in putting on your own show) and Commissions (including the creation of your specially designed teaching puppets).

Prices

Full Day workshop session = £150.00
1/2 Day workshop/story telling session = £80.00
Preparation time costs = £20.00 per hour
Material costs = depends on type of puppets made
Mileage = 42p after a 25 mile radius of Durham
