Textiles, texture, text and whatever it takes!
My work ranges from representational to abstract using textiles, book forms and mixed media. Text and texture are often included in the work as I build up layers of colour and materials to produce a complex final surface. I am starting to explore the possibilities of photography and digital imaging to broaden my horizons.
I teach workshops and courses to all ages in a variety of techniques from bookmaking to illuminated lettering, and have delivered these courses in a variety of venues from schools and colleges to sheltered accommodation.
Prices range from £50 upwards.
